The NWC Dolphins is a recreational swim team for high school-age and younger swimmers, led by professional coaches and supported by dedicated parents. Our mission is to help swimmers increase their fitness, improve their technique, and most importantly, have fun—all in a safe and supportive environment.

Season Highlights:

• Practice Opportunities: Swimmers will have regular practice sessions where they’ll work on technique and fitness.
• Swim Meets: Our team competes against other neighborhoods in friendly swim meets, culminating in a Championship Meet at the NISD Swim Center at the end of the season.
• Skill-Level Grouping: Swimmers will be grouped with others of similar skill levels, as determined by the coaches, to ensure appropriate challenges and growth opportunities.
• Age Bracket Competitions: Swimmers are required to compete against others in their own age group for swim meets, promoting fair and competitive racing.

Required Gear for the NWC Dolphins Swim Team

Appropriate Swimsuit

• Girls: One-piece swimsuit
• Boys: Jammers or Speedos
• 2026 Team Suit: Speedo Linear Lava in Royal Blue
• Purchasing the team suit is optional, but many swimmers choose to wear it for meets.

Goggles
Please ensure your swimmer brings a comfortable, secure pair of goggles to every practice and meet.

Water Bottle
Swimmers should bring their own water bottle to every practice to stay hydrated.

Swim Cap
Each swimmer will receive a team swim cap for the season.

Team Suit Information

Our 2026 team suit, the Speedo Linear Lava in Royal Blue, will be available for purchase through Swim Freak.

Swimmers may also visit Swim Freak (10350 Bandera Rd.) during normal business hours for fittings and purchases.
